Campbell believes that his goal in life is to create an important and positive impact to the world, especially for the environment and humanity. His determination is powered by his skills which were the result of his life as an electrical engineer. Upcycling airplanes gives Campbell excitement and giddiness. He considers this to be his niche. Standing beside his aircraft home, he explained, “My goal is to change humanity’s behavior in this little niche.”

Part Of A Small Group

Campbell is one of the few people all over the world who has converted retired airplanes into homes. Martin Todd, a spokesperson of the Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association, expressed his thoughts about the group stating that the organization “is happy to see aircraft fuselages re-purposed in a range of creative ways. We would want them to be recovered and to be re-used in an environmentally sustainable fashion.”
