As Gloria went over the paperwork, she realized that it did not take into consideration that her father was dead. Clearly, they had forgotten about all the paperwork that she sent to them. It made the mourning process more difficult for her. On top of that, she no longer trusted the utility company!

There was nothing worse than the fact that all the employees she talked to merely recited a script to her. It did not even seem like the agents were humans! Gloria recounted her experience by explaining, “Not one person said ‘Oh. Wait. He’s dead? I understand. Let me get this to the correct department.’ They just kept on insisting on speaking with the account holder.”
