Lee went forward with the wedding despite her family’s misgivings; however, it only took a few months for her to not only understand why everyone was so concerned, but also to recognize that they were correct. Lee and Michael were then residing in London, England. Despite enduring catastrophe after tragedy at home, they maintained their appearances like any good socialite would. The couple had attempted to start a family but had been unsuccessful. Lee knew how to deal with her disappointment, but Michael did not. Instead, he turned to alcohol misuse for assistance. However, all that accomplished was give him a headache and bad counsel from Jackie.
