Lee has everything she wanted right now. She had a wealthy husband, an enormous home, and was expecting her first kid. If only it could have lasted forever.

This meant Jackie not only became the First Lady of the United States, but also lived in the White House. Lee understood that her sister’s accomplishments rendered everything she had done in their feud irrelevant. She was not only displeased; she was so upset that she declined to attend the most important day of Jackie’s life, Kennedy’s inauguration. While she claimed to be nursing her newborn child, she was not deceiving anyone.
