Alone for a moment, Melissa was overcome by a flood of memories of her relationship with Steve: the happy times, the disappointments and, most of all, the betrayal. A mixture of sadness, anger and apprehension engulfed her as she wondered if she would really be able to do it. Remember, we’ve got your back.” With one last deep breath, Melissa nodded, ready to face her past.
