The Silence of the Lambs
Anthony Hopkins is undeniably a fantastic performer. He has delivered time and again. However, he will likely be forever known as Dr. Hannibal Lecter from The Silence of the Lambs. Interestingly, he came up with some of the mannerisms of the cannibal. A great example would be the frightening hissing sound the character makes.

Taxi Driver earned its reputation as a great film for many reasons. One of these would undoubtedly be Robert De Niro and the famous “You talkin’ to me?” scene. It was not in the screenplay! The original version only mentioned the character looking at the mirror. Luckily, Scorsese gave De Niro free reign and that was how the iconic monologue came about.
