The students had engaged in “crazy partying, a lot of drinking, and plenty of bar hopping every night,” according to Dompig, who was in charge of the inquiry into Natalee’s eventual disappearance until 2006. “We know the Holiday Inn told them they wouldn’t be invited next year,” he said.
