JULIE GIBSON, 105 YEARS OLD
Known for her incredible singing and acting career in the 1940s, Julie Gibson was born in Washington and began her career by singing with the Jimmie Grier orchestra. Later on, she joined the cast of Joe Penner’s radio program. Her first film appearances were in small roles, but she made her way to starring roles in films such as ‘Chick Carter’ and ‘Detective’. Over the years she expanded her horizons and did more roles in all kinds of movies, and worked abroad as well. Today she is Hollywood’s oldest living performer from the ‘Golden Age’.
