Wondering what Luke’s inspiration was? “I was just on YouTube looking around and came across a tiny house idea and then that spiraled into looking at almost every YouTube video there is, it felt like,” Luke said to ABC News in October of 2017. “I got obsessed with them and decided to build my own.”

No Ordinary Kid
In addition, there is one other simple reason that he decided he wanted to build his own home. It was because he realized he was getting quite bored during summer vacation. Even though some kids may complain that summer vacation is too short or they lock themselves indoors playing video games and what-not, Luke was making preparations to build.
