Off Limits
Jemma and her brothers were free to wander wherever they wished on the farm, with one exception. The barn was off limits. He informed them that it was no longer used and was risky to enter. Jemma never questioned and always followed her grandfather’s requests. But she was unaware that her time at the property was limited.

Tragedy
One day, Jemma’s father, Adam, received a call. They hurried to the hospital to find her grandfather lying in a hospital bed. He didn’t have much time left. He whispered quietly to Adam and passed him something. It was an old photograph of the farm. Jemma got to say farewell but never really recovered. She often thought about her granddad. Now that he was gone, the farm will sit indefinitely.
